For over two decades, the Lord has guided my steps into the sacred calling of prison ministry, a mission rooted in the gospel truth that every soul is precious in His sight. My heart beats for those behind bars—brothers and sisters who, though bound by chains, are not beyond the reach of God’s redeeming love. Through my foundation, I have been blessed to serve as a vessel of His grace, bringing the light of Christ to those dwelling in darkness. This work is not merely a task but a divine mandate, inspired by Matthew 25:36, where Jesus calls us to visit those in prison. I want the world to see this ministry as a testament to His mercy and my unwavering obedience to His will.

The Good Samaritan Prison Ministry, a name born from the parable of Luke 10:25-37, stands as my offering to the Lord—a commitment to love my neighbor as myself, especially those society has cast aside. For 20 years, this ministry has been a sanctuary of hope, a place where the Holy Spirit moves to heal broken hearts and renew weary spirits. Through prayer, scripture, and acts of service, we proclaim the promise of Psalm 107:14: “He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces.” People know me as a disciple of this cause, a shepherd called to tend to the lost sheep within prison walls, and I pray that this truth shines forth in all that is shared about my journey.

Within this holy work, One Coleman emerges as a divine whisper—a specific calling from God to reach one soul at a time with the transformative power of His love. Like the shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one lost sheep (Matthew 18:12-14), this effort reflects my belief that every prisoner is a child of God worthy of redemption. It’s a ministry of presence, of sharing the Bread of Life with those who hunger for hope, and of trusting that the Lord can turn even the hardest heart toward His light. I long for others to see One Coleman as a sacred thread in the tapestry of my mission, woven by faith and blessed by His hand.

My soul rejoices in this labor, for I know it is God who sustains me through every trial and triumph of these 20 years. The Good Samaritan Prison Ministry is my Ebenezer, my stone of help (1 Samuel 7:12), raised to honor the One who has brought me thus far. When people hear of me, I pray they hear the echo of His voice calling us to love the least of these, to offer second chances as freely as Christ offers forgiveness. This is my testimony: that through faith, prayer, and relentless devotion, we can carry the gospel into the cells of the broken, proclaiming liberty to the captives (Isaiah 61:1) and building His kingdom, one redeemed life at a time.
